If the number of people that stopped by the Waterloo Regional Kart Club display at the Performance World Car Show this past weekend is any indication, the sport of Karting is sure to grow. The interest level from the people who stopped by our booth to look at the karts and talk about how to get started was really encouraging. Of course it was also great to talk with many existing karterís and hear about their plans for the upcoming season.

The club would like to thank all the club members that took time out of their busy schedules to be at the booth answering questions, and helping people understand how they can get started and join in the fun. Of course, we also want to thank the following racers for letting us display their karts: Jared Gill, Scott Nagel, and Ciarra Collison. Our new display was designed and provided to the club by Mito Graphics and Sheldon Rier.

Although being at the show and talking about racing was great fun, the nice weather had us all realizing that the start of the season is just around the corner. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track soon.
