| Club News: Waterloo Regional Kart Club - Track Clean-up |

 | | (Courtesy of: WRKC) |
On Saturday, April 11th close to 60 Waterloo Regional Kart Club members spent the morning getting the track ready for action. Following the first season of racing at the club’s track at Flamboro Speedway the executive had identified a number of projects that needed completed. The club signage was updated, the track was swept, top soil and grass seed was spread around the track’s edge. A new shed was built to house some of the club’s equipment and all of the equipment needed to run a race day was checked. Jim Collison organized the day’s activities and did a great job to see that everyone had a job to do and that all the tools and equipment needed were available.
When the day was complete the club has everything in order for our Practice Day on April 25th and driver training on April 26th. One week later on Saturday, May 2nd the club will be holding our first race day of the season. Information for both the practice day and driver training day are available on the club’s website. Also posted on the website is our complete 2009 race schedule.
It’s been a long winter and all of the members who came to help are excited about getting out on the track.
