BGR/TLM Racing with Grote, Junior Development Driver Mackenzie Clare, topped off a strong karting weekend with a win at the Canadian National Rotax-Max Qualifier, held at the fast and technical Innisfil Indy on May 31, 2009.
This event was also Race #4 of the Toronto Racing Association of Karters (T.R.A.K.). The win moves the 14 year old Barrie resident from seventh position to fourth position in the T.R.A.K. championship standings.
“I would like to thank Brian Graham Racing/TLM Racing and Grote Manufacturing for their training and support. I would also like to thank Rick and Eric Gerrits of G-Force Engines. They are the best in the business” says Mackenzie Clare.
Mackenzie will re-join the BGR/TLM Grote Racing team to continue his training June 12 - 14 at Mosport International Raceway during the NASCAR Father’s Day Double Header Weekend.
