The weather was hot and sunny for Race #10 of the Manitoba Karting Association Championship at Gimli Motorsport Park Sunday, September 13th. Sponsorship was provided by Jeff Bachalo of Woodhaven Lexus Toyota.
Highlights of Races #10
#66 Tristan Merke continued her domination winning both the Honda Junior 1 and Rotax Mini Max classes despite the close challenges from #67 Stephen Bachalo in Honda Junior 1 and #25 Jordan Brown in Rotax Mini Max. #72 Daniel Burkett won Junior Rotax beating out #12 John Buzza, but in the Honda Junior 2 class #12 John Buzza won with #72 Daniel Burkett knocked back to third place behind #54 Yakov Zaretskin. The Honda Senior class saw a new winner with #10 Jared McDonald just edging out #97 Travis MacDonald and #1 Roland Fortier at the finish. In Senior Rotax #20 Cale Mogg set a new track record (37.467) and was over six seconds ahead of #97 Travis MacDonald and #27 Jeff Bachalo at the finish.
