 | | The 2nd Annual Moto Kart Klassic Russell Street Race is set for Saturday, July 9 |
The Manitoba Karting Association is in the planning stages of holding their second annual Russell Street Race (the Moto Kart Klassic Russell Street Race). The town of Russell, Manitoba was made famous during the Winter Olympics as the hometown of Gold medal winner Jon Montgomery. Last year there were competitors from three provinces; Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. The track was about a kilometer long with a tight hairpin, uphill and downhill sections running under the wooden arches.The event is schedule to run Saturday, July 9th in downtown Russell, Manitoba.
