| Point Pelee Karting Hosts Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship This Weekend |
Point Pelee Karting (PPK), along with the Point Pelee Kart Club, welcome karters from all across the province this weekend for the second round of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship. Nestled in the lush landscape of Leamington, Ontario, racers will face a challenging course and stiff competition as more than 100 entries are expected to descend on PPK.
Located just north of Point Pelee National Park, PPK offers a world-class track and features a 3/4-mile sprint course with 690 ft. straightaway and nine challenging corners. Designed in 1997 with drivers in mind, the circuit is 28 ft. wide and offers a Formula One-style entry and exit curbs, making it a track favorite of drivers of all ages.
As the second stop of the ever popular Brian Stewart series, PPK is ready to host karters with official practice kicking off Friday, June 10 from 9am - 6pm. Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 will see full days of racing action, with two-cycle and four-cycle classes battling it out on the beautiful and challenging circuit. As always, spectators are welcome and admission is free. With PPK's family friendly environment and ideal location, this weekend is the perfect getaway for the whole family.
