Series News: Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship - 2012 Schedule and 2011 Champions Gala

The Principals and Organizers of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series together with the Simcoe and the Waterloo Regional kart clubs are please to announce the 2012 Race Schedule as follows:

May 19-20-21 - SUTTON – 2 cycle & 4 cycle classes
June 15-16-17 - INNISFIL – 2 cycle & 4 cycle classes
July 20-21-22 - PPKC -2 cycle & 4 cycle classes
Aug. 1-2-3-4-5 - SHANNONVILLE Bear Hunt Races - 4 cycles, doubleheader for 2 cycles
Aug. 24-25 – FLAMBOROUGH – 4 cycles only

The BSRKC Supplementary Regulations will be finalized in due course and will include the Class Structure, racing tire specifications, and the cash prize structure for the official classes. Race day entry fees will remain $85.00 per class. In 2012 all racers competing in the BSRKC series will need to register their kart racing numbers in each of the classes they compete in. The fee to register a racing number is $5.00 per class. This form is available in the Documents sections posted on the BSRKC website at http://www.BSRKC.com .

The 2011 BSRKC Champions Gala and awards banquet is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Destiny Banquet Hall & Convention Centre in Woodbridge. Full banquet details including the updated special event flyer is attached HERE. The form to order the tickets and finalize your seating arrangement preferences is attached HERE. The delicious five course Italian meal includes, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and a free bar. The dress code is semi formal. The deadline to receive the discounted rate at the Comfort Inn host hotel is January 20.

Please note that effective immediately the top 3 in all of the eleven official BSRKC classes will receive CASH prizes sponsored by MG Tires. As well, we will be unveiling the NEW Stewart Cup and presenting the Series’ sponsors with their well deserved appreciation plaques. Other prizes include class champion jackets, trophies, door and spot dance prizes sponsored by the Simcoe and the Waterloo Regional kart clubs, and Makos Group Sportswear. There will also be a special draw prize for the Novice and Junior class racers for a complete custom body work decal set sponsored by Steve Lyons and Creative Edge Signs & Graphics.

We look forward to seeing you at the Destiny Banquet Hall and Convention Centre on Saturday, January 28, and to sharing the evening’s bounty that brings our 2011 BSRKC Series to a very successful close.
