With two successful seasons of karting competition in the books, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship has established itself as the premier karting series in Canada. Attracting world-class competition from across North America, the ECKC is pleased to welcome a new team and chassis to the paddock in 2012, as DRT Racing and DR Racing Kart is set to take on the demands of the popular series.

“We are very happy to become part of the ECKC this year,” explained Don Guilbeault, proprietor of DRT Racing and importer for DR Racing Karts. “DRT Racing is excited to be coming to Canada to race with some of the most passionate racers anywhere!”

DRT Racing is one of the fastest growing kart importers in the USA and is the number one DR Racing Kart importer in North America. The chassis, designed by five-time world champion and CRG Team Manager Danilo Rossi, performed well during 2011 competition, boasting new track records at many karting circuits. With the addition of the ECKC schedule to their 2012 season, DRT Racing is now focusing on adding a podium photo to Rossi’s website for the whole world to see!
