Canadian karters will be out in full force this weekend (May 5-6), with clubs in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan hosting races.
Out west in Alberta, it is the racers at the Edmonton District Karting Association who will be hitting the track, with race one taking place at Warburg Racing Park.
In Ontario, the Hamilton Regional Kart Club, Innisfil Kart Club, Kawartha Durham Kart Club, Mosport International Karting Association Club, Point Pelee Kart Club, Simcoe Kart Club, Toronto Kart Club, and Waterloo Regional Kart Club will be in action. The WRKC commences its 2012 campaign at Flamboro Speedway, Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex hosts race two of the HRKC championship, Mosport International Raceway welcomes the MIKA drivers for race two, the IKC (race 3), SKC (race 1) and TKC (race 1) will run a combined event at 3-S Go Karts, Kawartha Downs and Speedway will have race two for the KDKC racers, and the PPKC karters will be at Point Pelee Karting for race three.
In 'La Belle Province' of Quebec, it is the Ontario-based National Capital Kart Club who are racing, contesting the season-opening race at Le Circuit Quyon.
Out in the prairies, Saskatchewan-based Saskatoon Kart Racers Club and South Saskatchewan Kart Club commence their 2012 campaigns. The SKRC drivers will be at Martensville Speedway, while the SSKC take to 3 Flags Motorsports Park.
