Western Canadian Championships Season-Opener Information

The first round of the 2012 Western Canadian Championships will take place on May 18-20, in 10 days in Chilliwack, B.C. It is very important for competitors to know the changes for 2012, which are included in the 2012 WCC series regulations, including the new registration procedure. To see the series regulation visit http://www.maxchallenge.ca/wcc

Online registration is now mandatory and closes one week prior to the event. This means online registration for Round One will close this Friday (May 11) at 5 pm (Pacific time). After Friday, late entry (a late entry fee applies) will be possible at the event on Thursday (May 17) from 9 am to 5 pm and on Friday morning (May 18), from 9 am to noon. No entry is possible after noon, except under special authorization. To register go to http://www.maxchallenge.ca/wcc/chilliwack/

You can register for the whole series and save 10 percent (10%) on entry fees including Friday full day practices. The series registration is also available until Friday (May 11) at 5 pm.

Competitors must acquire their rain tires through their own source. Be aware that the WCC series does not sell rain tires. Please verify with kart shops to make sure they have them in stock.

At least one practice will be timed on Friday afternoon, so it is mandatory to install transponders on the kart after lunch.
