The Waterloo Regional Kart Club 2012 season reached the half way point on Saturday (July 7). The support from the club members has been exceptional, week in and week out, the racing in the first half of the season has never been better. The second half of the season should only get better as there are close point battles in every class.
Not only has the racing been close, but it has been great to watch the fantastic progress that the Cadet racers have made since the start of the season. If this is the future of the club and karting, the future certainly looks very promising.
In Cadet, Josh Bisschop was the Race 7 Feature winner, ahead of Keidon Fletcher, Luke Pero, Liam Rhodes, and Kyle DaSilva.
Novice witnessed Ciarra Collison taking the win, over Aaron Turnbull, Madison Colling, Tyson Wassink, and Peter Ditner.
The Jr. Lite Feature went to Austin Bisschop, besting Andrew Whelan, Jordan Howse, Kaitlin Neely, and Brandon Lowry.
In Jr. Heavy, Tyler Turnbull was victorious, edging Jared Gill, Kenny Rockwell, Dylan Penney, and Justin Collison.
