| Team News: K&K Drivers Rancier and Fiorini Win at Mosport MIKA Summerfest |
 | Trevor Rancier and Andre Fiorini led K&K Kart to Rotax Junior and Honda Junior category wins Mosport MIKA Summerfest

BOWMANVILLE, ONT. (July 16, 2012) - Trevor Rancier and Andre Fiorini, K&K Kart's top junior Team Drivers, showed how it's done on Saturday at the popular and well attended Mosport MIKA Summerfest Event. Rancier won the Rotax Junior class on his MSM powered K&K Predator, while Fiorini won the Honda Junior category on his Maxim Powered K&K Cobra.
Rancier and Fiorini followed up Sunday with two more podium finishes, finishing second and third respectively.
Dante Lerra, had a great run in the prefinal of DD2, with a very tight third place finish and fastest lap of the race. But, as luck would have it, a mechanical failure gave him a disappointing DNF on his K&K DD2 Condor in the final.
In Sutton action, Phoenix Humphrey had a great drive, to take a third place podium finish in Junior Lite on his MSM powered K&K Interceptor
Team owner Kevin Barrick, was very pleased with the results of his drivers over the weekend, and the performance of his "cost effective" Italian K&K chassis' lineup. He is also looking forward to Jon Treadwell, heading to Leamington BSRKC next weekend, sitting inside the top-three in all three Honda Senior Classes. |
