| Team News: Treadwell/ K&K Kart Triple Podiums at Leamington BSRKC |
LEAMINGTON, ONT. (July 25, 2012) - For the second BSRKC event in a row, Jon Treadwell and his K&K Cobra OTB (Out of the Box) chassis, have been nothing short of phenominal, in all 3 Honda Senior Classes.
Coming off three poles with a first and two second place finishes at the last BSRKC Innisfil event, Treadwell turned heads again all weekend at Leamington.
He pulled off two poles and an off pole (by less than 1/10). He followed that up with a win in Honda Senior Medium. He led almost the whole race in Senior Heavy, but had to settle for second to the veteran local Marc Steele, with some great last lap racing. Missing the pole by only 6/100 in Senior Lite, Treadwell drove to a third place finish.
With his first, second and third place finishes at Leamington, he is now either leading or a very close second, in the BSRKC Championship points in Honda Senior Lite, Medium, and Heavy.
Team owner Kevin Barrick, is ecstatic with not only Tradwell's performance, but the track to track consistency of the new Italian K&K Cobra OTB chassis and power by MSM.
The K&K Team will be at the BSRKC Shannonville Bear Hunt in two weeks. |
