| Four ECKC Standouts Earn Team Canada Invite |
 | Four standout drivers earned Team Canada invites to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals following the ECKC Finale

With the completion of the 2012 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship, four drivers have earned an invitation to race in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals as part of Team Canada.
The champion of the Rotax DD2, DD2 Masters, Rotax MAX Senior and Rotax MAX Junior classes earned an invitation to join Team Canada in the world renowned Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, which will take place in Portimao, Portugal, next November.
Ben Cooper (DD2), Stuart Clark (DD2 Masters), Marco Di Leo (Senior), and Zachary Claman-Demelo (Junior) all secured invitations with their championship-winning efforts in the 2012 ECKC. However, because Cooper was already qualified for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, the DD2 invitation went to the class runner-up Pier-Luc Ouellette.
Ouellette travels to year-end World Championship in Portugal seeking to defend the title he won last year in Al Ain, U.A.E. Both Di Leo and Clark will be making their second consecutive at Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals appearance, while Claman-Demelo will be participating for the first time.
These four drivers join Nicholas Latifi and Zacharie Scalzo on the Team Canada. Next weekend (August 4-5), three other drivers will join Team Canada via championship titles in the Western Canadian Championship, which concludes in Calgary, Alb. |
