Simcoe & Toronto Kart Clubs 2-Day Event at Sutton with Pot Luck BBQ

The Simcoe and the Toronto kart clubs are hosting two races this weekend (August 11-12) at 3-S Go Karts in Sutton.

The track configuration for both days is MONTOYA, with the track direction on Saturday being clockwise, and the track direction on Sunday being counter clockwise.

The schedule includes races for both the 4 cycle and the 2 cycle classes.

Saturdayís race day sponsor is Roy Schindelís West End Auto Care Service & Repair. The clubs are hosting a pot luck bbq after Saturdayís races. Already on the menu is SKCís title sponsor, Karlovo Meats & Deli, who are sponsoring the meat and buns for the bbq. Bill Chiplakov is bringing the cooler with his usual beverages. The Franklin family is bringing the corn courtesy of their sponsor Hewittís Farm Market and Bakery, and Bob Staples is roasting the corn for those attending. With this being a pot luck bbq, attendees are asked to bring something else that their taste buds would fancy; perhaps some salads or desserts, juice, sodas, and treats for the kids, paper plates, napkins, forks and knives. Everyone is also encourage to bring lawn chairs to sit in as they relax and enjoy the bounty with family and friends.

3-S welcomes everyone to stay the night, and then race with Sunday. Sundayís race day is sponsored by Chipís Garage and the Brutzki family. Linda has already mentioned that she is bringing the draw prizes to go along with their trophies.

The track is open for practice all week, and camping is always free. For SKC members that have purchased the Race for Free with SKC! package, both the entry and practice fees are waived. For all others, the daily practice fee $50.00, and the race day entry fee is $75.00.

So come on out and enjoy a weekend stay at 3-S Go Karts, a pot luck bbq and corn roast, all topped off with SKCís brand of camaraderie, hospitality, and great go kart racing!
