In late August (24-26), the top karters from throughout Canada will gather at Le Circuit Karting in Mont Tremblant, Que., for the 2012 edition of the Canadian Tire ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championships.
Ahead of the national championship event, ASN Canada has updated its website - http://asncanada.com/ - with information. Fans and participants can learn about the event schedule, registration, accommodations, technical regulations and updates, as well as videos and prizes/awards.
Among the current news of note are corrections to the supplementary regulations with regards to Briggs Junior class and Rotax Micro Max carb jetting, clarification on Rotax DD2 exhaust muffler regulations, and a supplementary regulations bulletin dealing with the Briggs & Stratton Masters Category. In addition, is has been announced that the Canadian Champion Tuner Award is returning.
The latest edition of the Canadian Karting Championships unofficial begins on August 22, with two days of practice hosted by the Le Circuit. The chase for national title commences on August 24, with three days of exciting on-track action determining the champions in Rotax DD2, Rotax Senior, Rotax Junior, Rotax Masters, Rotax Mini Max, Rotax Micro Max, and Briggs & Stratton Senior, Junior and Masters.
