Sunday Report

The curtain has come down on the ninth edition of the ASN Canada FIA National Karting Championships as five drivers were crowned 2007 National Champions yesterday at the Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex in Hamilton, Ontario. Adding to the drama, which was more than enough when a lunchtime cloud burst threw four days setup work out the window, were the addition of seven drivers to the current edition of Team Canada, set to head to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, in November. Six classes headed to National prefinals Sunday morning as eKartingNews.ca presented the crown jewel in Canadian karting.

Saturday Report

The grids have been formed and six fields of hungry karters are now set to establish the 2007 Canadian National Karting Championships as day three dawns at the Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex in Hamilton, Ontario. Saturday saw all six fields wrap up heat racing with respective second and third runs, and also had F1-K Junior and Senior on track for both prefinals and main events. Action was once again intense as a number of drivers slotted into prime position, and Championship Sunday should see the fences lined throughout the day. Prefinals hit the track at 10am while National finals begin at 1pm.

The first day of the 2007 ASN Canada FIA National Karting Championship wrapped with Black Adrenaline flowing at Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex in Hamilton, Ontario, yesterday. Home track ace Michael Vincec continued on a tear that began last weekend in Shawano, Wisconsin, with a Stars win and promptly converted three National poles to Heat 1 victories. Two other races also had CRG pilots step up to take the checker as the day was painted black.
