|
|
What is the correct way to mount the two exhaust mounts underneath the muffler assembly to the frame?
Using 2 solid mounts?
or
Using 2 rubber vibration eliminator type mounts?
Would appreciate any input from any Rotax specialist.
ps( is it mounted so the top exhaust section is horozontal? slightly pointing up, or down?)
thanks in advance |

You want to use rubber vibration mounts.
Solid mounts can cause cracks in the exhaust later down the road.
Generally you want the exhaust either level(horizontal) or slightly pointing down. There isn't really any difference between the two.
The main thing is getting a nice fit of the exhaust socket where it meets the engine.
Hope this helps! _________________ Daniel Bujold #92
