I found it interesting when the Terms of KF1 engine rentals for the Suzuka world cup in may, were released to any qualifying driver. Essentially any entrant may rent from either: BMB, Vortex, or Maxter at a rate of 700-1000 Euro per engine + shipping costs to be determined at a later date.
For racing at that level, it removes the impression (true or not...) that there are unobtainable engines on certain drivers' karts such as Nyck Devries last season.
All you have to do is choose the right brand!

Each manufacturer must bring evenly prepared engines for as many drivers that will choose their components for the weekend. The CIK then randomly hands them out and logs their use. Multiple engine rentals per driver are allowed. |

| Hey Joey, maybe you know better. I heard that some teams don't like the KF1 rental program because you are given random motors (sounds good) but if at any point CIK wants to they can swap yours out with someone elses. That person could have driven the motor much harder while you raced yours with some conservation of motor in mind. True or False? |

| Not looking too good for KF1. It seems that many teams are not commiting so the 3 Euro rounds are about to be cancelled. So much for the rental program. |
