eKartingNews.ca was able to catch up with Nicholas Latifi at the end of the day, and here's what he had to say.
"Overall I'm very happy with how the day went. The first heat was very exciting to take part in and running up front and getting the heat race win was a big confidence boost for me. Taking the lead early on in the second heat, I was hoping to stay up front, but after being passed and the full course caution, I had lost all my momentum and could only stay with the leaders, but not make any passes." Latifi continued, "We were having some engines in the second heat that may have held me back but overall I am very pleased with my results and minimum points that I acquired."

Here is the rankings after three heat races for the Canadian drivers. The top 28 qualify for tomorrows pre-finals, 29-62 will be in todays Last Chance Races, and the rest are unfortunately done.

It was a rough finish for sure.
The DD2 Results should be up soon and we will see where Daniel and the rest are ranked.
